Brooke's 1st Bike Ride

We were given a bike seat for toddlers, and Elmer was excited to be able to take both girls out for a bike ride. Audrey loves to ride her bike, and Brooke loves to be outside, so it was a perfect fit for all. Not to mention that Brooke looked so cute in her sister's helmet! Click to see more pics...

Batman (aka Brayden) and Clown Girl were having a good time playing when I asked them to say cheese, and amazingly, they both smiled and posed for the picture!

Blackberry Picking

We went blackberry picking with our friends from the Met. It was extremely hot, but we picked a lot of berries. Audrey enjoyed picking with her friend Addison and picked a lot until the heat got to her. Brooke just enjoyed the ride in her stroller but snuck a few berries when she got close enough to grab one. Brooke had her first real haircut at the salon this month. She did really well, but it helped having Audrey sitting next to her getting her hair cut too. Her favorite part was the sucker at the end. Click to see more pics...

Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons

Audrey took swimming lessons the end of May/first of June with her friend Camden. She took semi-private lessons from Ms. Buie and did really well. They mostly worked on under water swimming which is great because Audrey now likes to go under and pick up rings and swim around in the shallow area with her goggles. Brooke and Everett, Camden's little brother, would play at the park or in Ms. Buie's driveway while we we waited. They also had a good time! Click on Audrey to see more pics and the video below...

Nap time

During nap time, the girls discovered that they could talk back and forth to each other while in their rooms. It was really sweet. This is what they had to say...

Friends

Audrey and Brooke are really starting to play and interact well with each other. Today they both went shopping in the laundry room. They had their purses, baby dolls, and buggies and would close the door and sit and wait a little while. As they were walking to the laundry room they started saying their goodbyes to each other. Brooke, "bye Audrey I love you; Audrey, "bye Brooke, I love you, be careful". It was really sweet. When they came back from shopping they were both excited to see me in the kitchen and told me they loved me and missed me. They are something else. They also play beauty shop which usually doesn't end well because Brooke will pull Audrey's hair and then its over!
